Harp sheet music
Harpists rarely strike a block chord. The hands break the harmony into a roll, and a glissando smears a sweep into one gesture. Harp sheet music follows those figures, approximates each glissando, and leaves pedal diagrams off the page.

Broken harmony stays a figure you can read, closer to the two hands than to a keyboard block crushed into one beat.
