String section sheet music
A string pad behind a vocal is many players agreeing on a chord, sometimes split divisi, never one soloist taking a bow. String section sheet music is that blend: the tutti and the section wash, written as a group rather than as a single chair.

Divisi heard as a blended stack
Split desks often return as pitches piled in the section sound. The result follows that blend. It does not assign a stand or a chair.
The group, with solos added only if you ask
The string section is preselected. Add a violin or a harp when those should be separate staves, or use Auto and let the tool name what it hears.

This page selects the string section on purpose. The target is the group sound in the cue or the chorus, not a solo etude.
