Vocal melody sheet music follows the pitches that were sung. Lyrics are not transcribed, so nothing is printed under the staff as words. What you can read is the melody of the vocal line: the rises, the holds, and the leap into the chorus.
Playback lets you check a chorus leap on its own, without mixing it up with harmony stacked behind the lead.

The contour of the lead, including pickups and notes that hang, is the part that lands on the staff.

Words, rhymes, and a lyric sheet are outside this page. You get sung pitches only, the melody of the vocal line.

Use it to find the pitch you keep missing. A dense choir is busier than one lead; a forward vocal gives the cleanest staff.
Start with a recording where the singing is the line you want to learn.

A demo, a chorus, or a hummed hook. Keep the file to an upload of up to 10 minutes in the browser. The words will not be typed out.

Voice is preselected for you on this page. Add piano or guitar in the tool, or use Auto, when the accompaniment should appear too.

Check the sung pitches with playback. Leave with MusicXML or MIDI, and write the lyrics yourself if the song needs words.
“I teach the chorus pitches from Vocal melody sheet music, and I still bring a lyric sheet, because the words were never in the file.”
“I hum the topline in the booth. The staff had those pitches and no invented syllables under them.”
“The leap into the bridge was the note the artist kept undershooting. Seeing the melody made the target obvious.”
A monophonic synth hook is the synth lead page. Slow held chords are the synth pad. A synthetic string wash is synth strings.
