Cello sheet music
In one movement the cello is the floor of the quartet, carrying harmony under three higher voices. In the next it sings a solo that runs from the low string into a register a guitar chart does not cover. Cello sheet music follows whichever of those jobs the recording gives the instrument.

Foundation in the quartet, tune in the solo
The bass motion under the viola
When the cello pushes the harmony, the staff follows that foundation: the pitches that make the chord change, not a melody borrowed from the violin.
Cello sheet music for the lyrical solo
A suite, a film cue, a concerto entrance: if the cello has the tune, the transcription follows it across that wide range.
Notation, not a fretboard
You get a staff to export as MusicXML or MIDI. It is not guitar tablature, and it does not print fingerings or bowings.
