Trumpet sheet music is the lead book. The line rides above the band, the stab punches a short chord, and the fanfare opens the chart with leaps the lead chair has to see coming. Range is part of the read, from a settled middle register to the notes only that chair is asked to own.
Playback stays with the page, so a high fanfare can be checked against the recording before anyone reprints the part.

Pickups, long tones, and the chorus figure the trumpet owns are written as one line a player can take to the gig.

An off-beat punch is a brief chord, not a scooped phrase. The attack is the trumpet's, bright and finished, rather than a reed line wearing a brass name.

Opening calls are pitches and rhythm, including the leaps that define the range. Valve combinations are yours to choose; they are not printed on the staff.
Use a recording where the lead is easy to follow, then read the range you actually heard.

A solo, a big-band shout, or a pop hook all qualify. The browser accepts an upload of up to 10 minutes.
02
This page preselects trumpet. Add another instrument in the tool, or switch to Auto, only when the page should show more than that lead.
03
Play the staff back and confirm the octave of the fanfare. Download MusicXML or MIDI when the range agrees with the recording.
“Rehearsal became Trumpet sheet music the same night, enough to hand the fanfare to a deputy.”
“The bridge stabs were where the sub kept rushing. Written rhythm on the staff settled the count.”
“Playback caught one octave jump in the shout. After that, the top of the part matched what the pit horn was playing.”
A smear belongs with trombone. A call inside the chord belongs with French horn. The blown bass under the choir belongs with tuba.
